                                    INTRODUCTION-Bukit Timah Hill

HI, we are Christabel, Cindy, Justin..we are going to Blog about our trip to a special place call-->BUKIT TIMAH HILL.. In this place we met a very experience Nature Guide, Mr Wong aka uncle Wong. :) he shared with us many interesting facts... this are some facts that I will be sharing with all of you:):)

Singapore have many rainforest in the past or to be more specific 200 years ago there are about 82% of Rainforest around..In the last 50 years there are about 12-14% of rainforest around...sadly now, only 4-6% of rainforest is present :(:( what a sad thing to say...

Many rainforest are present near the equator belt and the rainfall is about 1000mm per year...of course the climate must be warm and constant..Tropical Rainforest is the most Divest-Habitat for many animals...

Bukit Timah Hill was a research ground for a Naturist-David Dalami and a Biology scienctist came to research for beatles and found more than 700 different of species of beatles in BUKIT TIMAH HILL.. :):)
Last but not least uncle wong told us that there are about 900 flowering-plants and about 100 non-flowering plants in BUKIT TIMAH HILL...:):)

REFLECTIONS.

Justin Garcia: I have really enjoyed the trip to Bukit Timah Hill...as it was my first time to a Nature place... I had gain many knowledge in this trip and love nature even more.. It was really fun to hike the hill and, receiving factual information about nature... The best part of the trip was to actually bonding with NATURE, because i was never a nature-lover but after this trip, i  feel very special when i am with the trees it was so magical...I am sure to visit BUKIT TIMAH HILL AGAIN!! :):)

Christabel Lim: It was a fun experience to go on this trip..and i have learn my thing about rainforest from this outing... I was quite shocked to know that there are many types of species of plants in Bukit Timah Hill... The weather may be humid but the trip was definitely worth it.. My favourite part of the tree was to take photo of many different types of tree and plants. And this trip make me understand and appreciate nature even more! :)

Cindy Ong: I wasn't really looking forward to continue the trip at first, because I was chased by monkeys when i got down the bus.. But i was brave and i continued the trip with my group members.. And i think i made the right choice because i was able to know more about plants and rainforest's... My favourite part of the trip was the phototaking session.. I was the lucky one that was able to post in front of the tree:):) I love Bukit Timah! :)

This is the END of the Introduction and Reflection.....i hope you will enjoy and at the same time gain some knowledge about Nature.....:):)
